Fresh on the heels of its Media Insider blog, Profnet's high-tech evangelist, Dan Forbush, just noted that PR Newswire is creating its own wiki.
"In a productive meeting yesterday with PR Newswire colleagues, I received the go-ahead to launch 'ExpertWiki' as a trial to determine if wiki-style interaction in ProfNet might add significant value for members and reporters.
"Our main objective in Phase I is to assemble a critical mass of experts in a resource I'm calling Profiles in Micro Media."
Details are still being hammered out, but I tip my hat to the folks at PR Newswire for not only "getting it" but investing in it. The only problem? I'd hoped not to have to wade into wiki's. Blogs keep me plenty busy. But it looks like 05 signals the start of something new.
