From September 20-24, the largest convergence of advertising folks to date will take place in New York City for Advertising Week NYC. Part of the week's festivities include your chance to vote for the top five product icons and advertising slogans of all time.
My vote? A tough contest for top icon when picking from the likes of Tony The Tiger, Mr. Peanut, the Jolly Green Giant, the Michelin Man and Charlie Tuna. But my vote goes to Smokey the Bear.
Launched in 1944, he represents the longest running public service campaign in history.
Advertising Week NYC will also discuss the economic impact of advertising on commerce, and advertising as a force of social and political change.
It's good to consider your industry/career in the bigger picture. But that doesn't mean others will take it seriously.
Um, that's Charlie THE Tuna, thank you!

In the visually impaired area, in my 40's a pscho group came around me and stopped my data. I found out everything. And data has to resume. Here is what this is about. The clusters have to come back. No out dated. A woman downstairs in the visual impair area
on the lamp has to die. She was the woman who caused the disruption. She is 1800. She dies. I sell my vintage goods.
Thank you Katherine Angelos, 217 Hampton Ave, SLC UT 84111.
Put me on your good lists.
