I can see how Facebook could help vending machines but are they ever going to take off beyond airports and as marketing stunts like the footballs? I just don't see them as mass market.

I think they're an interesting niche. We won't go back to the vendomat model that was briefly popular back in the day (automated) restaurant.

But I think for retail, it's an interesting opportunity. Definitely a fun stunt. And I think it's smart for their org to try and stay relevant through this campaign. Not to mention shifting their focus in schools to health and nutrition.
