Congratulations to Todd Andrlik for taking his Power 150 ranking to the next level with Advertising Age.
One reason I’m happy for Todd is that he's a client-side marketer blogging about his profession on the side. The book Citizen Marketers refers to this as "productive leisure." This means his blog is a labor of love and this achievement must be all the more gratifying for him as a result.
As Kami Huyse points out, there is a bigger picture to consider as it relates to blog measurement that needs to be sorted out. But the list is still a great starting point for people looking for blogs on marketing, advertising and public relations.
Disclosure: Strategic Public Relations and The Bad Pitch Blog were both lucky enough to land on the list.

I love the list, I just want to make sure that we discuss the deeper issues too. Something tells me we will all get a few more bad pitches.

Just a few? I suspect the only thing saving us from a landslide of bad pitches from this are that many of the bad pitches come from folks who specialize in media relations. As a result, they are less likely to read Ad Age. But this is nothing more than a theory on my part.

Sorry ... did you say less likely to read Ad Age - or just less likely to read?
