Four Links – 04.03.07 – Plugged In, Projecting, Sharing Slides and Twitter

1) ID Pilot’s Plugged-In Design: Core77
ID Pilot brings us plug decals to decipher the power strip and make sure we unplug the lamp and not the computer. Dead simple design ideas are sometimes the most helpful.

2) Cell Phone Projectors Possible by 2008: MIT Advertising Lab
Turn your cell phone into a weapon with this micro projector—bore someone to death with PowerPoint. Or think big and bring an entire city block to its knees.

3) Extreme Media Relations Makeover: SlideShare
The above is a presentation I gave in Chicago last year at a Ragan PR Conference. It’s pretty visual, so it loses some impact without someone presenting it. If you’re interested in the notes version, drop me a line. And check out SlideShare’s World’s Best Presentation Contest. You have to register to vote, but it’s worth the access to some of the presentations. Vote with your conscience.

4) Twitting with the Enemy? Twitter
To create a truly informed opinion on Twitter, I’m playing with it for awhile. Note this post is dated April 3rd, so this is not an April Fool’s joke. I’m starting out Web-only which I suspect will limit the experience in good and bad ways. Feel free to drop me a line. My id is prblog.

That's a great set of slides. I guess I'm now classified as a regular reader of this blog and BPB -- I recognized most of those ideas, examples and photos from previous posts. Does that make me cool?!

It makes you cool and it either makes me consistent or in need of some new material. Thanks Mike!
