Coffee Cups Runneth Over: Advertising/Design Goodness
Coffee cups are having a strange influence on ads lately as companies try and compete with Star-Go see Akeelah!-bucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. Talk it up. The web turns up the volume on the consumer voice: Internet Retailer
Read how Petco is tapping into word of mouth with the help of BazaarVoice. Web 2.0 fanatics/purists will squawk at this vertical trade’s attempt to cover social media in one article. But there’s some interesting content here, including some quotes from marketing blogger Dana VanDen Huevel.

Bravo to Launch Canceled Shows on Broadband: TV Week
Web 2.0 seems to be creating a 16th minute of fame as it fragments media even further. Networks have to fill the broadband pipe with something after all. MTV is already streaming some shows simultaneously. Bravo is giving cancelled shows, and fallen stars like Joan Rivers, a second chance. “Bravo said it will launch BrilliantButCancelled.com, a site dedicated to short-lived series with devoted audiences, on May 23.” I predict we’ll also start to see pilot programs that were never picked up by a network.
