Web/Tech Roundup

Some Monday morning technology links for your consideration:

* Flash? BAD! RSS? Good! PR Blogfather Tom Murphy shifts gears from RSS proselytizing to revisit his anti-evangelist stance on Flash. Bottom line: If you need "dancing baloney" to sell your message, you need to revisit the message. Not to mention, you are preventing anyone from consuming your message easily (read: print, cut and paste).

* Blogging Platforms. The Viral Marketing Doyenne, Greedy Girl, points us to some research on who's using what to blog.

* Text Messaging. Here's a communication platform I'd personally like to harness—text messaging. Media Daily News discusses a company trying to do just that. Turning this word of mouth tool into a research platform makes good sense. I hope they pull it off.

* Know When to Hit Send. The New York Times, perhaps in a move to synchronize its own PR spam, brings us this story on when to hit send.

Enjoy.
